Our home has 66 beautiful en-suite accommodation and provides first-class Residential Care, Nursing Care, Dementia Care and Respite Care to older people on a 24 hour basis. We have two Activity Coordinators who enjoy nothing more than providing a varied weekly activities programme for our residents. From coffee mornings to quizzes, painting, baking and inviting musicians into our home, there is so much fun to be had each and every day at Harrier Grange.

Harrier Grange Care Home is located in the attractive market town of Andover, offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere for residents. Harrier Grange is closely positioned to Andover’s local community where many local shops, cafes, pubs, and leisure facilities and can be visited. Residents can utilise our chauffeured car service, so residents needn’t worry about having to catch public transport; instead, residents can relax in the passenger side of our Mercedes car.  

There is so much to see and do in and around Andover, Hampshire. For those who are history lovers, the Museum of The Iron Age is a tourist hot spot. Individuals who like to admire wildlife, especially birds, can see many species of birds up close and personal at the Hawk Conservancy Trust. Anton Lakes Nature Reserve is just a 5-minute drive from Harrier Grange Care Home offers scenic views and is the perfect place for a daytime walk.

Residential Care

Residential Care is best suited for those who require a little extra assistance with day-to-day responsibilities but can live independently for most of the time. Residents at Harrier Grange can enjoy first-class meals and social activities in a warm and welcoming environment, and our staff members are always there to provide support should you need it. 

Our residential care option is also great for people who seek companionship with other like-minded individuals, thanks to a prominent social life and where the upkeep of a household is taken care of by our housekeeping team.

Nursing Care

Nursing care is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to individuals who require continual personal care and medical care. Our Andover nursing team are devoted to improving a person’s quality of life by adopting a person centred approach to care so that residents can live life to the fullest.

Our nursing home staff will provide expert care for people with physical disabilities, high dependency needs, long-term illnesses or palliative care needs. Every nursing care resident is assigned a nurse who will get to know their needs, likes and dislikes in order to provide the best possible nursing care.

The team at Harrier Grange have received thorough training and have the necessary experience in order to provide high-quality care for people living with dementia. Our staff treats each of our residents as an individual they are, providing appropriate care to their specific needs and requests.

To fully support our residents living with Dementia, we provide suitable activities and alternative therapies so that they can feel comfortable in their environment.

Respite Care

Sometimes an individual will seek a temporary stay at our home while they recover from a fall or hospital stay. We provide a safe and welcoming environment for you here at our Andover residence. You’ll be able to fully rest and recuperate, free from stress or frustration.

Respite care can also be used as a way of trialling a care home before deciding to make it your permanent residence. No matter what your reason might be for needing respite care, we promise to make your experience a positive one here at Harrier Grange.

We are proud of the exceptionally high standards of care we give to residents who have particular health conditions. Our staff have been trained to treat and care for the following conditions and illnesses: Bipolar/Manic Depression, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Speech Impairment, Alzheimer’s, Cancer, Down Syndrome, Hearing Impairment, Visual Impairment and Parkinson’s.
