Embracing 2024: Moving Forward With Cherished Memories

As we step into 2024, our journey forward is marked by a heartfelt tribute to the past. Join us in navigating the new year with fond remembrance for those we've lost, carrying their spirit with us as we embrace the opportunities that lie ahead.

On Saturday 13 January 2024 we had a balloon send-off for those we lost in 2023 and pay tribute to them.

We've organised this as an opportunity to honour the residents, that were with us throughout 2023, showing our compassion, with a touching tribute for their families. This event aims to provide a meaningful opportunity for current residents and their families to join, pay tribute, and reflect on the shared experiences within our Care Home, and remember those who have made Harrier Grange so a happy environment this past year.

By organising this final farewell for the residents we lost in the past year, this event is intended to offer closure for both residents and staff. We hope it provides solace and reassurance to the families and the community, reaffirming our sincere care and commitment to their loved ones. And taking the chance to remember those who have made Harrier Grange what it is the past year.

The balloons that we're using are bio-degradable/eco-friendly balloons, string and seeded paper (that will plant wildflowers once they've decomposed) to attach to them to make a conscious effort to be green.

This month, we're celebrating some birthdays at our care home. The team at Harrier Grange, would like to wish an extra special Happy Birthday to Poppy, Myra, Eileen, Rita, Stefano, Lilian & Chris. We look forward to celebrating with you all and enjoying some birthday cake!

Our dedicated team of professionals are here to provide efficient and quality support to our residents, whilst providing them with the companionship that they need. We promote independent living whilst maintaining dignity and ensuring our residents know we are here when they need us. Learn how we could support your loved ones here at Harrier Grange.
